Human Resources Specialist — Full Time

May 28, 2026 1 Competitive Atlanta, GA (Hybrid) or Remote - US

About the Role

Trurion empowers organizations with cybersecurity, AI risk management, cyber threat intelligence, and continuous monitoring — helping them identify, assess, and confidently mitigate evolving digital risks.

As a Human Resources Specialist, you own the employee experience end-to-end: recruiting and hiring, onboarding, benefits administration, employee relations, compliance, and the records and reporting that underlie it all. You will be the first point of contact for employees on most HR matters and the person who ensures the company's practices hold up under scrutiny.

This is a generalist role at a growing company, which means breadth over specialization and a fair amount of building rather than maintaining. You will be hiring in a competitive technical market — security analysts, engineers, and researchers — so a genuine interest in learning what these roles actually do will make you far more effective than a purely process-oriented approach.

Responsibilities

Talent acquisition: Manage full-cycle recruiting — intake meetings with hiring managers, job posting and sourcing, candidate screening, interview coordination, reference checks, and offer preparation. Keep candidates informed and treated well throughout, including the ones you decline.

Onboarding and offboarding: Run structured onboarding that gets new hires productive quickly, including documentation, systems access coordination with IT, orientation, and first-90-day check-ins. Manage offboarding cleanly, including exit interviews and coordination of access revocation.

Benefits administration: Administer health, dental, vision, retirement, and leave programs. Manage open enrollment, respond to employee questions, coordinate with brokers and carriers, and resolve issues before they become grievances.

Employee relations: Serve as a trusted first point of contact for employee questions and concerns. Investigate and document workplace issues fairly and confidentially, escalating appropriately and applying policy consistently regardless of who is involved.

HR compliance: Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment law, including FLSA, FMLA, ADA, EEO, and applicable Georgia requirements. Support I-9 verification, required postings, and audit readiness.

Records and HRIS: Maintain accurate, secure employee records and HRIS data. Given the nature of our business, we treat personnel data with the same care we ask clients to apply to theirs.

Payroll support: Partner with finance on payroll inputs, changes, and reconciliation, ensuring accuracy and timeliness each cycle.

Performance and development: Coordinate the performance review cycle, support managers in delivering effective feedback, and administer training, certification, and professional development programs.

Policy and documentation: Draft, maintain, and communicate HR policies and the employee handbook. Make sure people can find the answer without asking.

Culture and engagement: Support engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and company events, and surface what employee feedback is actually telling leadership.

Reporting: Produce HR metrics on headcount, time-to-fill, turnover, and other indicators, with observations on what the trend means.
