Junior Data Analyst — Full Time

May 28, 2026 1 Competitive Atlanta, GA (Hybrid) or Remote - US

About the Role

Trurion empowers organizations with cybersecurity, AI risk management, cyber threat intelligence, and continuous monitoring — helping them identify, assess, and confidently mitigate evolving digital risks.

The Junior Data Analyst role is an entry point into that work. You will spend your time close to the data that drives our platform and our client reporting: scan and telemetry output, vulnerability and exposure records, third-party risk assessments, and product usage. Your job is to clean it, query it, question it, and turn it into something a human can act on.

We are hiring for aptitude and rigor rather than years of experience. You will be paired with a senior analyst, receive structured code and query review, and be expected to say "I don't know yet" out loud rather than guess. If you are curious about how security data actually behaves in the wild — messy, incomplete, and full of edge cases — this is a good place to learn it.

Responsibilities

Data preparation: Collect, clean, validate, and structure data from internal platforms, client environments, and third-party sources. Document what you did to the data and why, so someone else can reproduce it.

Analysis and reporting: Write queries and build recurring and ad hoc analyses that answer specific business and client questions. Produce clear summaries of what the data shows — and where it is thin.

Dashboards and visualization: Build and maintain dashboards and reports that operations, product, and client-facing teams rely on. Choose the visualization that makes the point, not the one that looks impressive.

Data quality: Monitor pipelines and datasets for gaps, duplicates, drift, and anomalies. Investigate discrepancies to the root cause and flag issues before they reach a client deliverable.

Automation: Support the automation of recurring reporting and data collection tasks, replacing manual steps with repeatable scripts and workflows under the guidance of senior team members.

Collaboration: Work with analysts, engineers, and product stakeholders to understand what a request is really asking for. Ask clarifying questions early rather than delivering the wrong answer efficiently.

Communication: Present findings clearly in writing and in person to colleagues who are not analysts, stating assumptions, limitations, and confidence rather than presenting a number as a settled fact.

Learning and development: Build depth in the security and risk domain, take an active role in code and query review, and grow toward independent ownership of an analytical area.
