Sales Manager — Full Time
About the Role
Trurion empowers organizations with cybersecurity, AI risk management, cyber threat intelligence, and continuous monitoring — helping them identify, assess, and confidently mitigate evolving digital risks.
As Sales Manager, you own revenue for a defined territory or segment and lead the team that delivers it. You will build and manage a pipeline, run complex enterprise cycles from first conversation to signature, and coach a small team of account executives toward consistent, forecastable performance.
Our buyers are CISOs, risk and compliance leaders, and procurement teams. They are technical and skeptical, and have been oversold before. Success here comes from understanding the risk problem in front of you well enough to have a real conversation about it — not from volume outreach. You do not need to be an engineer, but you do need to be genuinely curious about the domain and willing to learn it properly.
Responsibilities
Revenue ownership: Own and deliver against quarterly and annual revenue targets for your territory or segment, with accountability for both new business and expansion within existing accounts.
Team leadership: Recruit, onboard, coach, and retain a team of account executives. Run regular pipeline reviews and one-on-ones, set clear performance expectations, and develop reps into consistent closers rather than occasional ones.
Pipeline management: Build and maintain a healthy, well-qualified pipeline. Enforce disciplined qualification and stage hygiene in the CRM so that what the pipeline says is what the pipeline is.
Enterprise selling: Personally lead and close strategic and complex opportunities, navigating multi-stakeholder buying committees across security, risk, procurement, legal, and executive leadership.
Solution positioning: Develop working fluency in Zaxtron's cybersecurity, threat intelligence, third-party risk, and continuous monitoring offerings. Translate technical capability into business outcomes that a risk owner recognizes, and know the limits of what we do rather than overselling into them.
Forecasting: Produce accurate, defensible forecasts and report on pipeline health, conversion, and win-loss trends to leadership. Surface risk to the number early rather than at quarter end.
Cross-functional collaboration: Partner with marketing on demand generation and campaign feedback, with delivery and engineering on scoping and feasibility, and with customer success on renewals, references, and expansion.
Proposals and negotiation: Oversee proposal, RFP, and pricing development. Lead commercial negotiation through to contract execution in coordination with legal and finance.
Market intelligence: Track competitor positioning, pricing dynamics, and buyer priorities in the security and risk market, and feed what you learn back into product and marketing.
Process and enablement: Improve the sales playbook, qualification framework, and enablement materials the team runs on, and hold the team to them.
